The IoT Business Management Lecture Hall ring beam work is in progress at its main campus.
As in the case of ICT studies, business management course was intended to enhance the employability of current students as well as specialist diploma courses. Both would focus particularly on the training needs of men and women engaging in small-scale enterprises. To also reduce on unemployment rate of 15.13% of the Kenyan youth population of age between 15-35, who form the 35% of the Kenyan population.
The Business Centre upon completion will also be used as a venue for all types of evening classes for students who are resident in the IoT hostels as well as ones living nearby.
The new Centre is seeing a steady construction progress with lots of engagement from the building department students. The new Centre is also built as the upper floor of the 2 -storey building in which the ground floor houses the electrical and plumbing workshops that were completed in January this year. The Business Centre occupies the entire upper floor of the IoT’s first storey building.
